Get Our Youth Addicted to Being Catholic

YOUCAT“Choosing Christ is the most important decision anyone can make because it is the only decision that has eternal consequences.” ~Father Larry Richards

The young Catholics of the world are preparing for World Youth Day in Rio de Janeiro this upcoming July. Pope Francis has already marked this event as his first trip back home to the Western Hemisphere. Youth Ministers, Priests, Religious and millions of vibrant young people will fill the streets of one of the poorest cities in the world in order to celebrate the decision they made to follow Jesus, even unto the ends of the earth.

On the eve of this celebration, a small group of people has prepared something special for our Catholic youth and anyone else who cares for them. A new digital apostolate called YOUCATholic.com is launching today, June 10th, and its mission is to help our young make the eternal decision of becoming addicted to being Catholic.

“This site is designed for teens to enter into dialogue with people who know the faith and are effective in explaining it to them. It consists of formation courses, Q & A forums, blogs and social media outlets that provide our young soldiers of Christ with the basic training they need to answer their most profound questions, to satiate that constant longing for the Divine and to ultimately discover the immense joy of being Catholic.” ~YOUCATholic.com About page

While confronted by the numerous sinful distractions the world throws at them, the youngest members of our Church will be satiating their souls while making their pilgrimage alongside our Vicar of Christ in Rio.

That journey can start now from the comfort of a computer screen.

YOUCATholic.com launches today, on June 10th. Like us on Facebook, follow us on Twitter or subscribe to our blog.
